My name is Sharon and I graduated from Annandale High School in 1999. I have lived in the Northern Virginia - Annandale area my whole life. I started working in orthodontics through a school program in my senior year of high school and have been an Orthodontic Assistant ever since. I was radiology certified in 2000 at Northern Virginia Community College. I have been working with Dr. McCombs as a Clinical Supervisor and I enjoy each day in our office; we have a very warm and friendly environment with a wonderful team of people. On weekends or in my free time I am a volunteer for a Rescue and Adoption group for cats called Little Buddies, I have always loved animals and enjoy helping any way I can. When I’m out having fun I enjoy all outdoor activities, going to the movies, bowling and spending as much time as possible with my friends and family.

ASSISTANT – Stephanie
Hi, my name is Stephanie. I graduated from Robert E Lee High School and West Potomac Dental Careers in June 2011. I am currently going to school at George Mason University to become a future Orthodontist. I was born on February 8, 1993 in Arlington but since 1st grade I have lived in Springfield. My parents are from Valle Alto, Cochabamba, Bolivia in two small pueblos named Santa Rosa and Arbieto. I enjoy dancing in a Bolivian group called Tinkus Tiataco which is only one type of dance out of the many there are. Other than dancing I am a sporty girl. I play in soccer, basketball, and volleyball year round. I also travel every year to Bolivia, to visit family and friends, and see the beauties that it holds. In particular I love traveling because there is always so much to know about the world. OVERALL I love learning hence “I love school”. Yes some people call me a nerd sometimes, but I love it because one never stops learning even if one is done with school; new things are learned throughout the course of life.

I was born in Ranong, Thailand. I moved to Virginia, USA when I was 26 years old. I graduated from Virginia International University in 2007. In my spare time I like to spend time with family and friends. I love watching movies, cooking and camping. Working at McCombs Orthodontics has given me the opportunity to learn a lot of new things.

RECEPTIONIST - Amy
I am 24 years old and was born in Fairfax, VA. My mother is Argentinean and my father is Peruvian. I graduated from Annandale High School in 2003. I hope in the near future to go back to school to study to become a Sonogram Technician. Working at McCombs Orthodontics has been a new learning curve. I learn something new everyday and really love working and meeting new people. In my spare time, I like to hang out with friends and watch TV. I love shopping, listening to music, watching movies and working out.

OFFICE MANAGER – Pam
I’m Dr. McCombs’ Office Manager and wife as of June 2009. We met about 15 years ago when he was treating my daughter Paige. I enjoy traveling (once I’ve gotten through airport security), cooking, interior design, and entertaining friends and family. I was born and raised in Northern Virginia (Falls Church High graduate) and have lived here most of my life. My business background is all over the place but serves me well at McCombs Orthodontics. I’m responsible for financing orthodontic treatment, bookkeeping and marketing. I love our patients and their families and really enjoy getting to know everyone during their treatment.
